Leslie Mogensen worked for a small aircraft brokerage, doing administrative tasks for a sales team member, following more than two decades of employment in the corporate world. He conducted a modest event in three states: Arizona, California, and Arizona. Leslie began this side project around three years ago, and he recognized promise in it. She wanted this event to be as well-known as the other big events in the business, so she set out to make it bigger and more national.
Leslie followed the path she set for growth and rebranded the event, bringing on more vendors and attendees. In just a year, the event went from three locations to twelve locations across the US. She also made sure the event didn’t close during the “Covid Pandemic shutdown” and increased the number of events it held that year. Additionally, Leslie made the event so well-known in the industry that other events and entities tried to purchase it, and others attempted to mimic or copy it, all without success. Leslie managed an aircraft brokerage and management firm in addition to overseeing the event. Leslie gathered a lengthy list of diverse businesses and individuals from her network.
Leslie decided she wanted to help grow, project, and assist other businesses in becoming successful or increasing their brand awareness because she was able to assist so many others with their new start-up companies or well-established companies with ideas for growth based on her experience and other business contacts. Wingman Business Development was therefore launched.
