Yosr Hamza oversees and manages the legal, compliance, and ombuds operations throughout the Middle East region in his capacity as Head of Legal and Director of Legal and Compliance at Gartner. He also gives top executives and stakeholders strategic business advice. Yosr has been leading and executing complicated and high-value business agreements, transactions, and projects for more than 13 years in this capacity. He has also ensured compliance with local and international laws and regulations and managed risks and conflicts.
Yosr is committed to advancing diversity, equality, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB) in the legal industry and beyond. She also uses her position and experience to speak out in support of women’s empowerment, disability rights, and genuine leadership. In addition to serving on the boards of several employee resource organizations, networks, and advisory boards that seek to promote an inclusive, collaborative, mentorship-, sponsorship-, and collaboration-focused culture, she co-founded and co-led the Legal and Compliance Inclusion Council at Gartner. Along with her many accolades and honors for thought leadership, inventiveness, and influence in the field of DEIB and disability activism, she also frequently shares her experiences and insights as a mentor, author, and public speaker.
