Co-founder of iRobot Colin M. Angle has held the positions of president since November 1992, chief executive officer since June 1997, and chairman of the board since October 2008. Since October 1992, he has been a director. As co-founder and CEO, Colin’s in-depth understanding of the business, its personnel, clients, prospects, the strategic marketplace, and its rivals makes him an invaluable asset to the board of directors. Colin had previously worked at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory of the National Aeronautical and Space Administration, where he helped create the behavior-controlled rovers that allowed Sojourner to explore Mars in 1997. He graduated from MIT with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and an M.S. in Computer Science.
